Can I use my insurance now for out-of-network reimbursement?

Yes. We can provide detailed superbills that you may submit to your insurance company for possible out-of-network reimbursement. Coverage will depend on your individual plan, and reimbursement is not guaranteed.

What is a superbill, and how does it work?

A superbill is a detailed receipt that includes diagnosis codes, service codes, and provider information. After paying VATAS directly, you can submit the superbill to your insurance company for potential reimbursement. VATAS cannot guarantee reimbursement and does not control processing timelines, but many patients receive partial repayment.

Do you accept HSA or FSA cards?

Yes. Most patients can use Health Savings Accounts (HSA) or Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) to pay for psychiatric services at VATAS. Please check with your account provider to confirm eligible expenses before scheduling.

Do you offer sliding-scale or income-based options?

Yes. Contact us for further information.
